First game this season. Very odd watching from a different location after 24 years with the same seat. Different stand (South) and lower, nearer pitch level. Back to the River End for the next 2 games though several rows down from my old seat.
- Good all round performance, Boro were rarely able to apply consistent pressure.
- Aarons may not be very tall but he is powerfully built for such a young man and seemed to be playing "without fear". Some very confident touches
-Tettey was a little more forward looking than the last time I watched him but still slows things down a lot
- the penalty incident Pulis was complaining about was preceded by a foul by the forward that allowed him to get into the area in the first place.
- more professional pull backs (take a yellow for the team) than I am comfortable with. Klose was very lucky
- some nice selection problems for Farke as midfielders get back to fitness in the next couple of weeks
- listened to Canary Call for the first time in a long time. Should be renamed Butler's Buddies, most of the callers seemed to be prearranged
- pleasantly surprised at only paying £6 for parking at County Hall when someone posted after the first game that it was £8, £10 for cash. I really need to find somewhere else to park though where I don't have to go up that hill. It is ok on the way to the ground but going back it plays merry hell with my angina
