They travelled from Russia to see historic Salisbury.
On March 3rd they travelled to Salisbury, stayed for just 100 mins and then returned to London. They visited neither Stonehenge nor the cathedral, instead spending 40 of those 100 minutes drinking coffee in the (historic?) station cafe.
On March 4 - after going to the effort of returning but not bothering to equip themselves with more suitable clothing - they spent around 2 hours in Salisbury. In that period they spent 20 mins walking to/from a petrol station near the Skirpal's house, and claim they visited a park and another coffee house.
The Russkies would have been much less cold & wet had they walked to the cathedral (0.7 miles) rather than schlepping (in the opposite direction) to the Shell garage on Wilton Rd and back (total of 1.6 miles)
