I bought a Norfolk WI 1984 cookbook off ebay

There was a recipe of my nan's in it I wanted.

There's a section for 'Norfolk Recipes' which includes one for something called 'Fair Buttons'. Does anyone know what it is? I can't make out what it may be from the ingredients and there's no photos in the book.
