Can I add something to the Jim vs TBF chat from down there vvv

Here's what I've noticed...

TBF's view on fans who disagree with him:

Ridiculous. I can't get over how unbelievably passive, accepting and worse, self-aggrandising many of our fans are. Fans of a club which once upon a time, got into Europe ourselves, and would never have regarded relegation as acceptable.

The tone for me absolutely comes across as critical and judgmental.

I was very interested to read BWOD's posts re TBF from last night where she set out her views on the club as well also as Shortfabs excellent post. What is conveyed to me is that we of course all have different levels of expectation for the club, different aspirations and different things that frustrate us. I would see BWODS list of what she wants and looks for from our club (I was going to say aspirations but that's not quite fair as clearly we all want our side to win every game if possible) as more in line with the current board's. Mine are perhaps more demanding in comparison...

This strikes me as someone who has read and thought about different view points, understood where they come from and respectfully accepts that fans think differently even if they completely disagree with what is posted.

Jim's negativity drives me crazy at times (as no doubt my positivity does him!) but I have no problems whatsoever with his posts. I get the impression he posts because he wants to share his views, not because he wants to troll or demand attention.

For me, TBF's posts like a politician who won't let the interviewer or another guest interrupt - so wordy that it's hard to follow his points. It was hard to see that he had any empathy for other views in his responses over the last couple of days, yet felt very sorry for himself yesterday that he was so misunderstood.

Finally, camcan is absolutely one of my favourite posters on here. I cannot believe the irony that one of the few posters on here who really does post nasty things should say that about camcan :(
