The two aren't mutually exclusive though

We all (or at least most of us I would think) unconditionally support our club and that will never change.

Just because someone may be critical of the board strategy or a manager on a message board does not mean they are not supporting their club or indeed that on match day they are not screaming themselves hoarse supporting the team.
