Absolutely

I get so conflicted over the NFL.

- It's run by horrendous greedheads who move franchises from one city to another, screwing over tons of fanbases

- It's a sport that quite literally kills some of its protagonists... yet when evidence of this started to emerge, the NFL tried to bury it and threaten doctors who'd made such a horrifying discovery

- Much of its fanbase is racist: which is precisely why Trump's taken the stance he has

- The treatment of Kaepernick has been disgusting, unbelievable. I think he has a great chance of winning his court case

- And yet... it's unpredictable, it has competitive balance, it has all sorts of stories every season, and so many games end up with the most incredible finish. At its very best, hardly any sport anywhere can beat it for raw excitement.

Morally and ethically, I shouldn't give the NFL the time of day. I'm a bit ashamed of myself that - go Lions! - I do.
