Pompey look a decent bet for promotion from league 1 this season.

Two clubs that would be held up as examples of the dangers of foreign ownership but I think could equally be held up as examples of the fact that decent sized football clubs (although Blackburn not really a big club in terms of support) tend to eventually bounce back and don;t go to the wall.

I do agree with CWC though that the quality of decision making at board level can be just as important as having money won;t guarantee success if you make poor decisions. not having money though means you have to make excellent decisions in order to compete.
