What happened? We fell out of the Prem. And were maybe the first club to really suffer the financial consequences. Loads of clubs have had similar or worse experiences since.

As a result, we faced near-administration... just as we did 13 years later under owners we have a completely different attitude towards. Jim and OG have covered the similarities between the two regimes; they're much more alike than is ever normally acknowledged.
