Verily, they are deluded

This is, by a mile, the worst Ipswich side I have ever seen. They have nothing but huff and puff; and I thought they more or less collapsed at 1-0. The equaliser had been coming: more through their total incompetence than anything that good we were doing.

We have flashes of quality here and there. They have nothing. I guess their fans have to tell themselves that all will be well; if they realise that McCarthy was actually doing a great job, and it's all downhill from here, it's mass hemlock time.

They're going down. Much more a consequence of Evans' neglect than anything else - but my oh my, are they a shadow, even a ghost, of what they once were. League 1 is welcome to them.
