My opinion is that my opinion is of little importance.

I want the team to be successful but not compromise on my ideals, whatever they are. So does everyone else. But I am aware that my ideals may not be the same as everyone else’s and so as a result my wishes are immaterial.

The reason I get involved with arguments like this is because I think there is an assumption from some posters that not calling for the board or manager to be sacked means not caring. That somehow demanding change gives you a superior point of view. It often also tends to have a selective view on the past, assuming that one thing always leads to another. I know that I’m also assuming people’s opinions from what they write and so am in a way guilty of the same sin and I am aware of the irony, but I don’t see any harm in putting that view across.
