An ignominious end to a fine career with us

I did wince every time he made the teamsheet towards the end, to be fair, but he's given everything asked and has been a great servant to and ambassador for the club. I'd have much preferred him to go out on loan somewhere and get a testimonial - still waiting for Wessi's, to be fair, though and I guess two close together wouldn't work.

Something the club might do better is managing the exits of these people who've served the club for a long time.
