Like I said the other day, he’s lost more talent this pre-season than last.

Maddison, Hoolahan, Gunn and Murphy? All at their best would be in the Championship team of the season. And not to mention the end of parachute payments - these are not excuses for not being at the top of the table, they’re reasons enough to cripple a lot of clubs. All you have to do is look at other teams like Portsmouth, Forest etc over the last few years. I think we’ve done well to remain competitive amidst all the churn.
