The way I see it, last season they were an average side with a couple of very good players

And they worked out a way to play very effectively.

The good players being Hoillet, Zahore and Mendez Laing. Take them out and there's not much left.

Still, I would say they fielded a top 12 championship side. Madine and Reid are decent players.
