Players tonight...

McGovern - did fine
Passlack - fast, little, not really ready for the starting eleven
Zimmerman - solid, a couple of mistakes, looked good.
Godfrey - some good wins in the air. Fast, strong, also a couple of giving the ball away slips.
Aaron's - fast, little, better than Passlack.
Tettey - solid, broke up play very well and regularly slotted in at fullback to let Passlack attack
Trybull - superb, pulled the strings in midfield
Stiepermann - really good, strong, broke well from midfield and knitted things together in the middle of the park.
Buendia - good feet, nice attacking play
Cantwell - broke quickly, was tackled hard a lot of time, but did go down quite easily. Had a couple of breaks but didn't get his shots away.
Szbeny - took his goals superbly and ran well.

Team as a whole, played well lots of good movement and the passing for the goals was superb.

Was sat with mates in the home crowd who were very complimentary about us. The away fans sang superbly too.

As good as we were, I can see why this was essentially a second 11.
Cardiff were playing their second string too. We looked under more pressure when their first teamers (particularly ward) came on.

Lovely game, and as some said, a demonstration of what the management team are trying to do. The challenge will be to get the understanding between the players to make it click.
