Happened to us.

Unit was full...

They sent someone next to our bed to London to give birth. They accepted as they had family there.

They offered us Ipswich, Colchester and London. We said no, as we needed a Intensive care bed so they had to stop inducement treatment.

Labour took 8 days altogether.

The staff looked embarrassed, useless and apologetic. Not heir faults for the mayhem.
