To CWC's point further down: I agree that this could be a season to really prioritise cups

We're not quite desperate enough to go down this term (we've certainly got goals in us and that alone is usually sufficient to stay up) but neither does top six seem all that likely, though anyone can get up there with a decent run after Xmas.

So f**k it. Strongest team in every cup game, even if that means resting a few for the subsequent league game. Ofc the scum deserve the best team we can put out, but others don't, and let's look for a cup run.
