but it's all relative to our recent situation

We may be someone around average by the standard of this league, but this is the worst we have been for about nine seasons. We appear to be in our fourth consecutive year where our fortunes have got worse. And there is little to suggest it is going to turn around soon.

So, by the standards of our recent history, right now we are poor. Very poor. Of course we have to adjust to the new expectations - but it still remains to be seen where our slide will bottom out.
