Sorry, just saw your question re bike hire here in Mallorca. Have hired from different places the past two years, cos last year was in Palma, this year Puerto de Soller. (Last year a Cannondale, this year a Trek. In both cases could have gone as high end as I wanted, up to Di2 etc.)

Can tell you the names of both places if interested. But there are loads here - just need to do a bit of web searching to find the one closest to where you’re staying (in both cases I went to the shop to pick up and return - no idea if they deliver to you).

Suspect it’s a bit harder to find in March / April - or at least you’d need to book fairly early - but in August have had no problems. (For proper rides you do need to get out of the door fairly early in the mornings though...)
