Someone like Warnock probably would have had a public spat with him and then got 25 goals out of him. It takes all sorts and strikers with egos that need managing are hardly unheard of. I think Farke dealt with Nelson badly from the off.

As a consequence we are now looking at flogging a decent centre back to trim the wage bill whilst paying a Portuguese international striker not to play for us.
