and Webber has a poor track record in that regard. But you can't hang on to players who are on high wages and are not doing particularly well, just because you are fearful than you will f**k up and buy an even worse replacement.

It's not like selling Maddison or Pritchard where you are 95% sure that any replacements will be significantly worse. There are plenty of defenders out there who could do as well as or better than Klose has done for us, at a much lower cost.
