makes sense on every level. Klose isn't particularly good, certainly not significantly better than either Zimmerman or Hanley. And he's not great at playing the way that Farke wants to.
And, because of the situation when he signed, he's probably on pretty big wages. Wages which he is not justifying compared with a cheaper option like Zimmerman.
If we were serious promotion contenders then sure, you keep him as a squad option. But this year a mid table finish seems to be the target, so Klose is just an unnecessary luxury to be carrying.
