Press news in...

Hello and a warm welcome from the Colney Training Centre.

We're awaiting City boss Daniel Farke who will be giving us the latest injury news, as well as his thoughts ahead of City's visit to Bramall Lane tomorrow.

-----------------------------------------------------

DF: Trybull. He's available. Some good news, it was just a dead leg.

DF: Bad news with Kenny McLean. Has a ligament injury and will be out until after next international break.

DF: Ivo is ill and is out for tomorrow, same for Todd Cantwell.

DF: Stiepermann is okay. He struggled a bit but he was tough and is available.

DF: With Jamal, he hasn't had a pre-season. He was with us on Tuesday and it would have been good if he played against Stevenage. But we felt we needed more offensive players to come on. But one of his big strengths is his fitness. He will travel with us and he is in my thoughts.

DF: One of our strengths is that we are flexible. We played a back three a couple of times during pre-season.
We have the players to do this and the opponent never knows. The West Brom coach told me he was surprised that we didn't play with a back three. It's an option.

DF: There's a lot of bad luck for us at the moment. We didn't win our first two and we deserved to and we suffered with a few injuries against Stevenage.
The Cup draw is tough for us. It's not ideal for the travelling aspect but it is like it is. We want to go through to the next round. It will be fun to see Neil Warnock again because I really like him!

DF: It will be good to see Josh [Murphy] again.

DF: I want to win both games [Cup at Cardiff and the derby].

DF: I've seen Chris Wilder since our last visit. We had a beer afterwards. All is relaxed between us.

DF: He's doing extraordinary work there. It's tough to play against them and that's mainly down to him. They did well last season and they've made some good signings.

DF: I was a crucial game for us last season. We were conceding lots of goals at this point and we came up against a team in good form. But we played really well and it was great for our confidence. We stood against the intensity of the fans and did great to get a clean sheet.

DF: A result tomorrow could create a lot of momentum. It's one of the toughest places to go but if you do well, you don't have to be scared of anyone in this league.

DF: We will see if Todd and Max play over the next few weeks. I wouldn't play them if I didn't think they were ready.

DF: At the moment, our squad is a good size. We have a few problems with injuries, it's a little tricky when everyone is fit because there's lots of competition.

DF: Emi Buendia isn't far away. He is back and trained today. From now on, he can concentrate and there are good chances for him to be involved soon. He will create some special moments when he is fit.

DF: He won't travel with us tomorrow though.

DF: I hope we bring many topics from last season onto the pitch this year in terms of our defensive behaviour.

DF: But I hope we improve on several topics from last season. I hope we are better in possession and in counter actions.

DF: Our new signings have been good fits and Onel is pretty effective at the moment and I'm very pleased with things at the moment.
