it was interesting

lot of the usual bellyaching on here but, for me it was interesting to see how DF lined up with fringe players and newbies and stocked up with a strong bench should the artillery be required, which was how it panned out. reassuring to see that DF knew it would be a physical old affair and he could use this to blood some folks away from the pressure of the championship and get them spooled up for the blood and thunder of the EFL. for me last night was a plus if you can set aside the dire first half which I could easily manage given the oppo and our line up.

I'm not overly optimistic or pessimistic to be honest, I do think we are getting priced out of the top 6 money wise but hope springs eternal etc and if he can get some momentum and belief going then you never know.
