Actually it is *incredibly* uncommon for someone who is knocked out to suffer "severe (fatal)" head injuries. Otherwise hundreds and hundreds of men would die in punch ups each year.

Quick google:
7-8000 people hospitalised after fights per year.
7-8 people killed by single punch per year.

Granted - mine was a flippant comment about nasty homophobes getting a thump and clearly violence is rarely the answer to any question.

But don't grandstand with loose truths.
