....maybe it's the nature of all fans to be pessimistic but they are, both about the forthcoming season in general and tomorrows game. The home defeat last Sat v Bolton was not seen as a shock result round here than perhaps it was perceived elsewhere. There is not that much creativity in the squad though they are willing runners. Also the local view is that the board gave Darren 'Big Dave' Moore the managers job too quickly following the improved results at the end of last season which they put down to a natural reaction by the players to try to avoid the drop. They don't see him as managerial material, especially in a tight league like the Championship. Basically too nice. After the home defeat to Bolton last week he spent much of the press conference remarking how well the opposition had played. Didn't go down too well with the fans. There is no denying they are a decent team at this level, but we are possibly every bit as good and do have home advantage. My one real concern is that they do have a good record at Carrow Rd (and we regularly win at The Hawthorns). One of those fixtures where the away team often prevails....
