Just had to get shirty with Virgin Media

I am leaving but i had to tell the agent 5 times I did not want any offers and was leaving, just record that. He accused me of shouting, more a case of an edge getting into my voice as happens when people ignore what I am saying. I work in a utility with call centres, if we do that to our customers, I'd be disgusted.

Their script assumes that people have not thought things through - I'm going to use Now TV and he tried to tell me three times I needed good broadband (even though I had already told him I have), then he said broadband can go down, I pointed out that cable does too.

Good to have somewhere to vent.
