MRS BERRY: I'm hungry. Here's some money, can you go to the shop and buy me some food please.
ME: Sure. I will take this cash that you are giving me as a final confirmation that you want some food.
MRS BERRY: Thanks because I'm really hungry and want to eat.
(I go to the shop and buy food)
ME: Here, I bought you a beef lasagne.
MRS BERRY: Thanks but I'm a vegetarian.
ME: You said you were hungry.
MRS BERRY: I know but I don't want to eat a beef lasagne.
ME: You said you wanted food.
MRS BERRY: Can you take it back and get me something else please?
ME: I've lost the receipt. No refunds. Just eat the lasagne.
MRS BERRY: I didn't ask for a lasagne.
ME: You asked for food, I bought you food.
MRS BERRY: Well then I would rather stay hungry.
ME: No, I've bought you food. Food Means Food. Just get on with eating it.
MRS BERRY: But-
ME: You lost, get over it.
MRS BERRY: You've still got change left, can you go to the shop and buy me a salad?
ME: No, you already made your choice when you said you wanted food. You giving me the money was evidence that you wanted food, whatever food you got.
