Depends which direction you approach the Ground from....

....but you can walk out from the Centre in 20 minutes to St Andrews. Park in the Digbeth Area not far from the Coach Stn and Markets area. Alternately there are local hotels that offer parking at a price and there is street parking but you need to know Birmingham well to be honest if you wanted to try that. I'm quite local and know the area fairly well if you need more detail.
