The road turning directly off the ring road, which leads uphill to the ground, has free parking before 12. Or it did last season anyway.

Park just outside the ground, pointing the right way for a (reasonably) quick getaway, go for a pit or two, come back, watch the game, drive off to Adil’s in the curry quarter for a post-prandial dinner, drive home. Hopefully with the right result, unlike last time.
