Happy birthday The Beano. Favourite character?
Probably Roger the Doger but I also liked the Bash St Kids and Billy the Whizz (although I enjoyed the whole comic). My grandad in Liverpool used to post it to me every week until I moved onto Jackie.
Also, happy birthday Emily Bronte. Favourite Bronte character? Probably Jane Eyre
