City have received welcome news following the results of striker Jordan Rhodes’ scan on his ankle.
Rhodes had to be substituted after picking up an ankle injury during Wednesday night’s 3-1 win at Luton, but now looks set to remain in contention for the start of the Canaries’ Sky Bet Championship campaign.
Head Coach Daniel Farke commented: “It’s some good news with Jordan as the scan has confirmed only a minor ligament injury in his ankle.
“He will miss the game against Charlton on Saturday but should be ok to join training next week and hopefully be available for the Birmingham game.”
Meanwhile Farke confirmed forward Teemu Pukki will be fit to be included in the squad for the final friendly at Charlton after he also picked up a minor knock against Luton.
