£200 sim free for a phone that does everything I need, readily available accessories, swappable battery which is useful if one dies or the kids forget to charge their phone and need to run for a bus.

We use galaxy j5 but depending on budget/likes any of the 'j' or 'a' range are perfectly good enough for most needs.
