Buy a 'spenny bike 2nd hand

Keep it in good nick, re-sell once she is back jogging

You'll lose less (if anything) doing that than if buying a cheap bike with no resale value

Doing this with islabikes for the juniors, even turned a profit on one by selling ii on in the run up to xmas
