Good

It feels like a proper amount of thought and planning has gone into this window and it's the first time I think that's so clearly true for quite a lot of windows.

Proof of the pudding is worth two in the bush and all that, mind, but after a World Cup I started out indifferent to and ended up genuinely enjoying and engaging with and this window it's been one of the best close seasons for a wee while.

Bring on the real stuff.
