I did Fleet Moss a couple of years ago, after Buttertubs (from Hawes - the easier way), Ox

nop Scar (nasty zig-zag ramp at the start). What made it worse was it lulls you into a false sense of security - there's even a downhill just after the start - and then you can see it rising ahead of you, the nasty rampy beast. Amazing riding and scenery in the Dales though if you can see it through steamed-up glasses.
