The lower the temperature of the beer the more CO₂ it absorbs.

So it ought to fizz less the longer it has been in the fridge. Obvs you don't want to leave it in the fridge for too long, but it is a lager so will tolerate a lower temperature than an ale. If it's been in the fridge for as long as can make a difference re: temperature then it's an over-carbonated beer, and that's the brewery's fault, although one could make the case that it's your fault, actually, for buying beer off Suffolk scum c**ts hope this has helped x
