I would imagine it stems from Mother's who would use it to calm a child

after it had been shat on by a bird. That though, would have been back in the day, nowadays the parent would post a pic on instagram and tag it #shatonthelittlebastardlol #abirdshatonmysproglol #bullseye! 🦅💩☟👶🎯😂🙌
