Never heard of Maya Angelou , which is probably a result of my 70's education and laziness on my behalf , but prompted by today's news article i looked up the poem , and in my opinion ,and i know nothing about poetry , i think its as good as Mr Kiplings effort , but not as good as his Cherry Bakewell pies
