...but what do you then do if they have a s**t match?

Do you continue to pick the technically superior player who doesn't appear to give a s**t in training?

or

Do you pick the player who's been busting a gut in training doing everything he can to get back in the team and gives it his all all the time??

Surely picking the lazy player would damage morale, and make him think himself invincible, and therefore become even more lazy.

However, I in no way condone the picking of Gary Holt for any football match, under any circumstance.
