For better or worse (I don't really know), I find we're in a compact/throwaway generation. I take a lot of photos, but I rarely look back on them. It's nice they're there, but I often find I'm never going to do anything with them

I get I don't have any family so it would be more important if there were pictures of kids growing up and stuff

I just remember I moved a memory card over from one phone to another, and it had 9000 photos on it. I couldn't really remember why I'd have so many, and if I'll ever need them
