I was surprised he was near the surface.

I was pissed of with him destroying my new lawn so stuck the hose down all his tunnels and when he popped out grabbed him. Did have a bit of 4x2 ready but decided it must be rough being a mole and missing out on footie so liberated him in a nearby field with a warning never to return. I fear there may be a mate though.
