Yes this was it, and the lack of real options to change it from the bench.

Only thing we might have tried was to put someone on Modric after the way they started the 2nd half.
What we really needed though was someone who could do for us what he was doing for them!

There is a decent squad there, but its lacking that top top level quality, and at this stage of the WC you have to have that.
Some of those lads might get to his level, as may some of the World Champions we have a younger age groups.
