I think Rhodes will be a good signing

Not sure he’ll be prolific, but he gives us a different dimension. Last season we had no plan b, no alternative way of playing if our usual style wasn’t working.

Nelson spent way too much time last season coming deep to get the ball and cluttered up the areas of the pitch that madders wanted to occupy. Because of this he also wasn’t in the box enough when we did put crosses in.

Rhodes lacks the skill and touch of Nelson, but he’ll give defenders a much tougher game and should win plenty of headers to feed our midfield.
