Without digging it all up and all that. U.K. has a parliamentary decomcracy. The

referendum took away the power from our elected officials to make decisions which the general public doesn’t have the knowledge or understanding to make. This is why we have an elected parliament.

So actually it wasn’t democratic at all in the context of the U.K. in fact the way our system works it was in fact a massive loss of sovereignty
