That dripping water / crackling leccy issue I had...

...turns out the dripping sound of water was, in fact, the pitter patter of thousands of tiny feet...a wasps' nest. Glad to get to the bottom of it but rather creepy listening to it knowing they can make so much noise walking around in their thousands...
