I don’t think I’ve been able to write that more than once or twice in my lifetime.

Holland in 96 and he Germany 5-1 games are the only ones that leap to mind.

England do not look like England. They aren’t perfect as Sweden had chances but they are playing without fear, genuinely moving well, fast paced attackig balls, battling defenders and phenomenally well drilled set pieces.

Don’t know if we’ll win on weds or not but Southgate deserves a knighthood already
