The Malays also use a term from Chinese: "Sohai" which means

"crazy c**t".

Years ago part of my team were in Malaysia and their team leader was a chap called Chris So Hai Ng. He was not popular. Despite his pleas to be referred to as Chris, the team insisted on calling him So Hai.
