My one criticism of us tactically last night. Right at the end of the 90 we got a free

kick in our own half. Rather than play it short and keep the ball for the 1-0 win, we chose to have Pickford lump it which eventually saw colombia break which led to the corner which gave them a goal.

Reminded me of japan’s decision to play that last corner into the box which allowed Sweden to break and score the winner.

Just keep the ball.
