Posted the other day about what over-achievers Uruguay are at football

Blimey the opposite is true of Mexico, isn't it? Football-mad, population of 125m, yet basically they've always been a bit inconsequential when it comes to World Cups etc.

(Apologies if this has been discussed in the tv coverage - not watching that, sadly)
