First half decent team we play, stuffed

If our ambition is to finish mid-table then fine, if we want more than that - and with the money we've spent and players we have we should expect better - then he's got to go.

And, now we're safe from the drop and we can't go up, time to give the new manager the rest of this season to suss out the squad for next year.
